Each of these memorial Ash Beads are custom made with the ashes of your love one .
I create each piece by hand in a respectful way in my studio in Seal Rock Oregon .
Each of these beautiful keepsake beads are created one at a time by me . I use a torch, and rods of silvered glass. The glass is melted and formed into a round bead. The ashes are placed in the center of the bead then I build the design around them, I try to create a small peak a boo window into the ashes in the center of the design. This is optional.The bead is then encased in clear.Then I anneal it in a kiln over night to make it durable.
Your choice of color for the finish pendant Copper, Gold fill or sterling silver.
About me ..I made my first cremains bead in 2009 when a friend's sweet pet passed, she was inconsolable . So I made a bead for her, she cherishes it , and brought her some comfort.
Since then I have done many beads every time each piece is unique sometimes it feels like the spirit is there with me .
My personal journey.... In the last 8 years I have lost both parents and my son, I know the heartbreak , if I can give a small amount of relief then I have done my job.
Size is about 32mm high and 30 wide first photo in the middle , the hot pink bead is taller 50 mm high or I can make it smaller ....

***HOW IT WORKS***
If you decide to have me create a memorial bead, Mail a 1/4 teaspoon of ash per bead ordered to us in a double zip-lock bag one inside another . Include your name, the name of your loved-one, story about your loved one.The photos shown are examples of my work and past memorial beads
you tell me the colors you would like to have and pick a style of pendant .
Within 2 weeks after receiving the ashes, I will ship the bead or beads you requested, along with any photos and information you may have sent me.I will ship via USPS there is no charge for this service.
Unused ash will be mailed back, with the bead or beads.
